Executive Bachelor Program – Study even without a Secondary School Leaving Certificate

The innovative Steinbeis program Executive Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration qualifies you for management and leadership assignments in all professional fields and promotes important key competencies.

Tailored specifically to the demands of the labor market, this Executive Bachelor program differs from other business economics and distance education programs. Among the biggest differences are its great practical relevance as part of the  Project Competence Degree, program, flexible organization of studies, the general management education, and the opportunity to study without having a secondary school leaving certificate

The most important goal of the Executive Bachelor program is to impart immediately applicable, state-of-the art business and management knowledge based on the St. Galler Management Model. The connection between a practice-oriented project and a career-integrated Executive Bachelor program gives you and your company knowledge that immediately circulates within the company, leading to innovative solutions and competitive advantages.

The Executive Bachelor program provides companies and managers who know the value of an academic program and want to solidify their leadership skills with comprehensive, hands-on management knowledge for daily application on the job

Given the special admission requirements, the program is even accessible to people who have shown professional competence but do not have a secondary school leaving certificate (Abitur) or polytechnic university entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife).

Program Structure and Duration

The entire study program lasts a standard three years. The innovatively structured Executive Bachelor program consists of 16 largely independent modules. This means it can be completed flexibly. Even missed modules can easily be made up.

The modules take place every four weeks, each module usually  taking two seminar days (Friday–Saturday). Some seminars start on Thursday. All dates and courses are specified at the start of the program, which allows you optimal room to plan. Obligatory tests are taken as part of all 16 modules. Tests in the form of written examinations, cases, and/or transfer reports are required in all 16 modules. The languages of instruction and testing are German and English.

The Executive Bachelor program can be started with every module. The modules are repeated every year.

    Study Locations and Dates

The Executive Bachelor of Arts modules are held in Berlin and Stuttgart. A special highlight of the program is a module abroad at the Jönköping International Business School of Jönköping University in Sweden.

The study locations for the modules are determined far in advance to make planning easier. The modules are held in selected seminar hotels. The exchange of experiences and opinions as part of networking at the seminar is very important for transfer of learning content. During group dialogs, interesting approaches for solving current issues frequently arise. For this reason, SCMT recommends that participants lodge together at the hotel.
